Now, patients have a new way of saying 'thank you' through the Guardian Angel program. Guardian Angel allows patients the opportunity to recognize an Ascension Wisconsin associate by making a gift in their honor, sharing their story or both!

How does Guardian Angel impact my work?
Guardian Angel is an opportunity for you to be recognized for all that you do. No matter what your role is with Ascension Wisconsin, you make incredible care possible for all patients.

Guardian Angel will not impact your day-to-day work; instead, it will be a patient-facing program that is focused on recognizing your contributions to Ascension Wisconsin.
Will I know if a patient honors me?
Yes! All associates recognized by a patient will be notified of the honor and will receive a small token of appreciation to wear at work.
What should I do if a patient asks me how they can thank/recognize a provider?
Please refer them to giveAWF.org/guardian-angel for more information on how to recognize a provider, or multiple providers. We also have an informational flyer and brochure available. If you would like the flyer and/or brochure available in your department, please contact giveAWF@ascension.org.
