The following testimonials were written in each patient's own words.
Dexter, Valet Services, Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Ozaukee
I am disabled as was my husband. We had to go to the hospital many times over the last couple of years. When I pulled up, he would get a wheelchair and take my husband in and then come out and get my walker out of the back seat and set it up for me. In the last couple weeks of my husband's life, I was at the hospital every day and stayed later than the valet parking hours, knowing that I couldn't get out to the parking lot. So before he would go home, Dexter would bring my car up and park it close to the emergency room exit so I could get to it. The day my husband died I left the hospital mid day. He asked me if I would be coming back, and I said no my husband had died. He gave me a big hug and told me how sorry he was. Dexter's kindness meant a lot to me.
Dr. Julie Webb, OBGYN, Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Milwaukee
For years, I have had triggers and flashbacks whenever I needed a pelvic exam. Despite this, Dr. Webb is very patient with me and takes her time. She is an excellent listener, is never judgemental and never gave off negative energy like she didn't care about what I had been through. When she has to do a pelvic exam, she walks me through each and every step of the way and doesn't touch me without saying, 'I'm getting ready to touch you here, is that ok?' I can now get pelvic exams without having flashbacks and nightmares. I am so grateful that I was connected with Dr. Webb. Thank you very much, Dr. Webb, my gratitude and appreciation has no words and no bounds.
Karen Jones, Medical Assistant, Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Milwaukee
Karen has been an angel with all of the paperwork to get the medication that I need. All of the calls and extra time she has spent helping me, I really appreciate everything. She always gets back to me in a timely manner, and is just a wonderful person!
Cheryl Pikulik, Secretary, Ascension St. Francis
Cheryl is the face of St. Francis Hospital. She is the first person you see at the second floor x-ray/imaging department. So welcoming. So caring. So upbeat. If she cannot take care of business with Plan A, she quickly goes to Plan B or C; whatever it takes. It was such a pleasure to listen to her work. Ascension is blessed to have her.
Dr. Robert Rawski, Podiatrist, Ascension Medical Group
I broke my foot over 20 years ago and always had trouble walking. There was so much pain and at times, it was unbearable. Finally, I was referred to see Dr. Rawski and he determined that I needed surgery. Dr. Rawski was very nice and explained everything in a way that I could understand. I had breaks, cracks and a broken tendon which was discovered during surgery in June 2024. God used his hands, and he healed me. I'm up and walking and living a normal life thanks to Dr. Rawski and his blessed knowledge and hands. My quality of life has drastically changed. I am thankful, grateful and blessed. Thank you Dr. Rawski, may God continue blessing you and your skilled hands.
Dr. Sachin Panchal, Internist, Ascension All Saints
When I first found out I had diabetes, my sugar level was very high. That’s when I met Dr. Panchal. He was very considerate and concerned about my condition, and he always went above and beyond. Dr. Panchal was a total care team all in one, he even made sure all of my other medical conditions were ok. I have no words that can describe all that Dr. Panchal does, he’s really the best.
Anthony Hall, Physician Assistant, Ascension All Saints
I was in so much pain after my tummy tuck, and it was hard to even function. Anthony was my PCP, and he could tell the pain I was in. He helped me tremendously when nobody else did. He was the only one who helped me get through what I was dealing with. He is an amazing provider who sees the patient, not just their chart. Anthony treated me as a person, and is truly my Guardian Angel.
