Every day, Ascension Wisconsin patients have the opportunity to recognize Ascension Wisconsin associates who went above and beyond during their care through Ascension Wisconsin's new Guardian Angel program.
We are excited to celebrate the six extraordinary Ascension St. Elizabeth associates who were recognized by patients in December and January for providing compassionate care.

My husband was diagnosed with CLL in January 2024. I would expect anyone who heard they had cancer would be overwhelmed and scared. I can't speak for my husband, but I was that. Having wonderful staff like Jenny has helped us deal with this and made treatments bearable. Thank you Jenny for your loving and kind care.

I was petrified to have surgery as I had been locked in my head once before. Again, I awoke in darkness with keen hearing. I was hysterical in my head. I heard a female voice saying she was going to stay with me and stroking my arm. I was crying inside. I felt the tears and the tissue she used. Maria says, 'Kathy, I know you are in there and I am staying with you. You will wake up.' Maria never left me, and in time I woke up with much less fear. Thank you Maria. I will never forget you. You are the epitome of a nurse in skill and compassion.

Dr. Rangbulla, internist, Ascension Medical Group
While in the emergency room with kidney stone pain, the CAT scan showed enlarged lymph nodes in my abdomen and a spot on my liver that was most likely hemangioma, however an MRI was recommended. Dr. Rangbulla promptly requested an appointment for an MRI, and I greatly appreciate his thoroughness and timeliness in my care.
Dr. Rangbulla has been our internist for several years. We have always had faith in his care. He is pleasant and a good listener. Despite being busy, he still has time to be thorough.
Dr. Rangbulla is an awesome doctor, and we are grateful for all that he does.

Guardian Angel, a new program of Ascension Wisconsin Foundation, allows patients to recognize any Ascension Wisconsin associate that went above and beyond during their care.
Patients who opt in to receive communication from Ascension Wisconsin are sent an email inviting them to honor an associate, or multiple associates, by sharing their story, making a gift in their honor or both!
